Well – time has really flown by now since the day that Boris set out his ‘Road Map to Recovery’ - here in Somerset at our two Exmoor hotels, we have mixed feelings. It is of course an optimistic thought and nice to hope that at last it seems we can see the ‘light at the end of the tunnel’ - but May is still such a long way off that the next couple of months of continued...
After Anne’s beautiful health and well-being blog comes my hard cold muddy and back to nature blog… It is hard to believe that a year has passed since we sold the Royal Castle and the Royal Seven Stars on the 11th February 2020. Wishing everyone reading this a Happy New Year! Don’t you think that this familiar seasonal greeting has suddenly taken on much more significance? I feel sure that most of us are looking forward to a Happier 2021 more than any year in memory - some will still remember the desperate war years of course but since then 2020 is a year that we will be more than happy to put behind us....
