We believe that a good nights sleep..
...is just as important as a healthy diet and exercise, so our rooms have been designed to help you start and finish your day, the best way you can with a great nights sleep.
All rooms have Hypnos Beds and Devon Duvets with blackout blinds and homemade lavender spray to help you drift off into a comfortable nights rest. Fluffy towels, comfy bathrobes and sensuous and uplifting Elemis bath products are also included to leave you feel refreshed and invigorated for the new day ahead.
Our guest pantry allows the flexibility to our guests help themselves to a wide range of hot or cold drinks, fresh fruit, snacks or refreshments throughout the day and night.
One Night Stays
We normally operate a two night minimum stay policy, as we like to encourage our guests to take the time to fully enjoy Porlock Weir and our hospitality. One night stays are usually only available last minute depending on availability - please telephone for one night availability.

Our rooms
Our Harbour rooms are light and spacious rooms located at the front of the building with many enjoying large windows and beautiful sea views over the beach and harbour.
Our Side View rooms are calming, spacious with a view over the village, hills or terrace.
Our Classic rooms tend to be slightly smaller but are equally well appointed and equipped. These rooms enjoy views of either the South West footpath behind the hotel or our secluded garden.
Dog friendly rooms
Well behaved dogs are very much welcomed here at The Porlock Weir Hotel and for a small additional fee, your pooches are treated to a comfy bed, dog treats and a dog blanket should they get muddy.

Devon based, Weaver Green create beautiful rugs and textiles made entirely from recycled plastic bottles. We love their range of beautiful, soft, handwoven textiles which look and feel like wool and you’ll find their cushions, rugs and blankets scattered around our hotel. Home made Lavender Spray
To help aid a restful night sleep, all our bedrooms have a bottle of our home-made lavendar spray. Spritz a few drops on your pillow and let the healing power of lavendar lead you into a good nights rest.
